The price of your home will depend on the model of home you request as well as the furniture and soft furnishings that you purchase to go in your home. With two parks to choose from there is a wide choice of locations. A plot can be secured with a deposit, and you can then decide upon the exact model of home you wish to place on your plot.

Home owners pay a ground rent to the park owners for the plot on which their home is sited. This is usually charged on a monthly basis and covers the running costs associated with the business including maintenance of the communal areas and landscaping, roads and such factors as security and electricity for streetlights, sewerage and maintenance.

Other costs are much the same (or slightly less) compared to living in a bricks and mortar house. Council tax is lower in a home as they are classed as Class A Band. Modern park homes are built with energy efficiency in mind, so energy costs are generally lower than a traditional house. Other services such as telephone lines, satellite TV are purchased directly from suppliers such as BT.

The difference between the two is in the way they are built. Homes are constructed off site using steel or timber frame.
